The Horseshoe Pass, part of the A542 in Denbighshire, North Wales, is short but one of the country’s most spectacular riding routes in the UK. This mountainpass runs from from Llandegla to Llangollen, reaching a maximum height of 417m (1,368 ft.).
The Horseshoe Pass, named after its shape as it takes winds around the valley. The incline makes both the ascent and descent easy and enjoyable, giving even the newest bikers a chance to hit the open road and have fun in safety. At 1,400 ft above sea level, the peak is a great place to stop and take in the views.
The Ponderosa café at the summit of the Horseshoe Pass is a great stop and extremely popular with motorcyclist.

Where are people able to get fuel when they are riding the route? The road is short thus it’s advisable to fill up petrol nevertheless you can find a nearby station in Llangollen.
